1. Who was your first prom date?  i didn’t go to prom.  for the first several years, i was fugly & boyfriendless.  then senior year, my boyfriend convinced us we were too cool for prom, because he was a few years older than me and had already been a few times.

2. Do you still talk to your first love? only through email

3. What was your first alcoholic drink? Cutty Sark.  it was in my parents unlocked, unchecked liquor cabinet.

4. What was your first job? chambermaiding at a crappy “family” motel.

5. What was your first car? 1985 Brown Honda Accord, the “bettymobile”.  died a tragic & twisted death on CR470 in Colorado in Feb 1997.  loved that damn car.  we had a bond.  i kept her oil changed, she let me run her ragged.

6. Who was the first person to text you today? Chris telling me he was done work

7. Who is the first person you thought of this morning? Chris (and why wouldn’t he turn off the alarm?)

8. Who was your first grade teacher?  Mrs. Holliny.  i don’t remember much except that her hair never moved.  like, never.  and she gave me a tissue when my first tooth fell out.

9. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane? when i was 8 we flew from Philly to Miami. 

10. Who was your first best friend, and are you still friends with him/her? Chrissie.  sigh.  funny, i was just thinking about her the other day, and even looked on facebo*k for her.  i haven’t seen her since i was about 13 or 14.

11. What was your first sport played? i started playing field hockey as soon as i could walk.  i think i was on my first team when i was 7 or 8.

12. Where was your first sleepover? at Laurie’s house.  she had a huge mult-level house, and we all slept in the back room on the first floor.  her dad went into the basement after we turned the lights out, just giggling or whatever, and he scared the bejesus out of us by banging things around and groaning like a ghost.

13. Who was the first person you talked to today? Chris (and why won’t he turn that alarm off?)

14. Whose wedding were you in the first time? my dad’s second wedding – i was 18.

15. What was the first thing you did this morning? tripped over shoes left in doorway

16. What was the first concert you ever went to? the Cure, at the Spectrum (now its called the Wachovia center or something), in the summer of 1989, the Disintegration tour.  

17. What was your first tattoo or piercing? first tattoo came at 20, a crescent moon & star on the inside of my right ankle.  first piercing, other than ears?  i did have my n!pples pierced from 1994-97.  there, i said it.

18. What was the first foreign country you went to? the UK, on a school trip my sophomore year in high school

19. What was your first run-in with the law? speeding ticket 3 days after i got my license when i was 17

20. When was your first detention? Like Dawn, i never had detention

21. What was the first state you lived in? I was born in NJ.  

22. Who was the first person to break your heart? G.  we were utterly codependent (yeah, i can’t believe i’m writing that either) at 20.  and i was going through a lot of stuff.  he broke up with me over the phone, on my birthday.  its okay, we’re kind of friends now…

23. Who was your first roommate? Amy.  we were put together at orientation, and decided we liked each other well enough to commit to a year, rather than end up with some freak… i remember she had this Sting poster that looked at me funny no matter where i was in the room.  whenever we were both home at night, we listened to The Wall while falling asleep.  no wonder i became a big scary mess…

24. Where did you go on your first limo ride? my dad’s second wedding when i was 18.
